Step 2

Submit your policy

To be a SunSmart member, you will need to ensure the policy you adopt aligns with our 10 best practice recommendations.

We provide Cancer Council NSW Sun Protection Policies that are ready to use and these include all 10 recommendations.

Existing and expired members

Every 3 years, log in and update the sun protection policy you are going to adopt to renew your membership.

New members

You will need to fill in the application form so we can set up the account for your school, centre or service.

Once your account is set up, you'll need to log in and submit a sun protection policy.

You have two options:

  1. Adopt one of our policies
  2. Create your own policy.

To help you decide, read through the Cancer Council NSW Sun Protection Policy that applies to you.

If you do create your own or use another policy, it must align with our 10 best practice recommendations.
